Music is said to be a universal language, and in making his new video for "Mr. Everywhere," Spookey Ruben has looked globally by making five different versions of the clip in five different languages.
Shot and produced by Mars Roberge and Ioana Vasile, the wacky video pits Ruben as "a multi-lingual post-apocalyptic junk pirate," playing a variety of instruments and just plain goofing off in the rolling hills of Laurel Canyon and Los Feliz, Los Angeles. He also helps himself to a miniature breakfast, hits a "cyberdust bubble vape" and struggles to untangle himself from an excess of plastic wrap.
