Canadian pop oddball Spookey Ruben is releasing a single every week this year, and recent release "Knife in the Water" has now been treated to a music video.
The clip was directed by David Field and shot in the Atlanta suburbs. It stars Ruben as a detective, in search of his missing feathery friend O.T. Biggs.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have a particularly happy ending, but there are plenty of fond memories of the pair riding a tandem bicycle together.
"It was a real treat to work with director/cinematographer/editor David Field and art director Simone Lourenco," Ruben tells Exclaim! "Two very talented and creative individuals! The scene in the Atlanta graveyard really blows my mind — looks like it was shot on a crane but it's a 360˚ VR camera!?! Also very happy O.T. Biggs showed up for the shoot — had a blast riding that tandem bike with him! LOL."
