Orville Peck celebrated the one year anniversary of his debut album Pony with a livestreamed concert from isolation last night (March 23), and he included a tribute to the late Kenny Rogers.
About 40 minutes into the set, he performed "Islands in the Stream," originally a duet by Rogers and Dolly Parton.
He encouraged viewers to sing along at home to fill in the void of a second voice.
After the livestreamed concert, Peck also announced that he will release a new single called "Summertime" on April 1. He's played the song live over the last year, but the studio version will finally land next week.
