You never know where you're going to see Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis. Maybe he'll be the rowdy guy getting kicked out of a basketball game, or the musical act at a school assembly. Or, if you're a Fox17 newscaster, maybe he'll be the random guy walking in the background of an interview and messing up your shot.
That's exactly what happened to Michigan reporter Lauren Edwards. While interviewing a member of the South Haven Fire Department on the Lake Michigan shoreline last month, a man and two kids walked through the background of the shot. The man, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, turned out to be Kiedis.
Someone in the background, possibly Edwards herself, can be heard excitedly saying, "Is that Anthony Kiedis? No. Okay. I'm going to flip out. No. Okay. Dang it!"
Edwards shared the video on Facebook, writing, "I was just telling God how grateful I am to be where I am in life ... and this just made it sweeter. Anthony Kiedis, feel free to walk through any shot I have."
Watch the clip below. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers wherever you go, especially in Michigan.
