Everyone's current favourite Grimes anecdote is the ongoing story of how she's dating controversial tech billionaire Elon Musk, but there was a much simpler time when stories about the pop star were a little more down to earth. We're talking, of course, about the time she got stuck on a house boat.
The hilarious story emerged in 2009, when Grimes and her friend William Gratz attempted to sail down the Mississippi River in a homemade house boat. The disastrous escapade wound up with plenty of problems when the boat ran into engine trouble and the police got involved.
It's a rather cartoonish story, so it only makes sense that it has received an animated treatment. Narrated by T-Bone Burnett and animated by Drew Christie, the story of Grimes' river disaster will be explored in an upcoming episode of Drawn & Recorded.
The show airs on the AT&T Audience Network tonight, but you can watch a trailer for the Grimes segment below.
