A supergroup with members of Tool, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Queens of the Stone Age sounds too good to be true, but that exact crew of rockers got together for an all-star jam in Malibu, CA, this past weekend.

Last Friday (December 3), Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins, Josh Homme and Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens of the Stone Age, Tool's Danny Carey, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chris Chaney from Jane's Addiction, and Ozzy Osbourne/Post Malone producer Andrew Watt got together to play tunes at the Bring Back the Arts benefit for the Malibu Elementary School.

Footage from the evening, which you can find below, finds Hawkins putting his all into a cover of Rod Stewart's "Hot Legs" with both Carey and Smith on drums, while Homme performed Queens of the Stone Age staple "Go with the Flow."

Of course, a few artists have recently started up supergroups of their own. Hawkins and Chaney recently formed and shared their debut singles as NHC with the latter's Jane's Addiction bandmate Dave Navarro

Meanwhile, the trio of Smith, Chaney, and Watt are members of new supergroup the Earthlings, fronted by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder. That band will tour the US next February.
