On November 6, New York indie rock dudes the Walkmen will issue a new two-song 7-inch via Fat Possum. Rather than make fans salivate at their nearest record store, however, we've got a stream of both tracks.
A-side "Dance with Your Partner" is a slow-burning ballad, but there's still plenty of the band's trademark jangle. Then, on "Vermeer '65," things take a turn towards acoustic-driven country.
