When rappers aren't dropping surprise albums, they're often dealing with frustrating delays. From Azealia Banks to Lil Wayne, these have resulted in some public record label feuds. Up next, Waka Flocka Flame is going hard in the paint against Atlantic over delays for his next LP.
The Atlanta rapper first announced Flockaveli 2, the sequel to his breakthrough debut, in January of 2013. Since then, it's been fitted with numerous release dates that come and go with no new album.
Taking to Twitter, Waka blamed the delays on Atlantic Records with a pair of tweets:
Even without a new album, Waka Flocka Flame has kept plenty busy. This month alone he returned with his Salute Me or Shoot Me V mixtape and announced plans to run for president of the United States of America. Watch his campaign video below.
