Violent Femmes Detail 'We Can Do Anything' LP, Share "Memory"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 13, 2016

Violent Femmes announced back in the fall that they were plotting to return with their first full-length since 2000's Freak Magnet, and now some more details — and a sample of the new music — have surfaced.

The record will be titled We Can Do Anything and it's due out on March 4. As previously reported, the new material was recorded with producer John Agnello at Altitude Recording Studio in Boulder, CO.

It follows the release of last year's Record Store Day EP Happy New Year, and features ten new songs. The opening cut is called "Memory," and hears the band gracefully returning to their signature energetic folk-punk sound.
