Vice Signs Circle Jerks/Hot Snakes/Redd Kross Supergroup OFF!

The typical mantra of "I hope I die before I get old" is one that has plagued rock'n'roll since the beginning, ringing particularly true with the majority of punks. Among those attempting to challenge that notion are OFF!, a new hardcore supergroup fronted by famed punk old guy and Circle Jerks/Black Flag vet Keith Morris. The quartet recently signed with Vice Records, who will issue four EPs from the band as limited seven-inches.

Along with Morris, OFF! includes Redd Kross' Steven McDonald, Burning Brides' Dimitri Coats and Earthless/Hot Snakes' Mario Rubalcaba. On October 12, the band will drop their first EP, simply called First EP. From there, the other three will follow and will eventually be compiled in the First Four EPs box-set on November 23.

Like Black Flag before them, OFF! have arranged to work with iconic visual artist Raymond Pettibon on all of their releases. The First EP will feature artwork and a poster from Pettibon.

In the meantime, the only way to check out the band's material is through live videos. Footage of them rocking out to a barrage of cameramen at an industry event can be seen below. We can only imagine how good they must be at real shows.
