Techno pop is essentially the gist of what this album from Versatile Records is all about. Artists featured on this 12-track release include I:Cube, Chateau Flight, Future Beat Alliance, Clara Hill, Basic Soul Unit, As One, and one of the more noteworthy cuts coming from Joackim entitled "I Wish You Were Gone.” Perhaps because it’s 2006, I’m expecting something slightly more forward-thinking than releasing a bunch of never-before-on-CD "exclusive remixes” that sound dated to the present day ear. Don’t get me wrong though, if you’re in need of a little nostalgic boost from the days of techno past, have a go at it.
