Hearing the song "Red Red Wine" for 45(!) years goes to one's head enough, let alone performing it for that long. It's a feat only UB40 could accomplish, and they're celebrating the 45th anniversary of their blue heart-beloved hit on a summer tour. The pop-reggae outfit's itinerary included a solitary Canadian stop in Niagara Falls this July.
Joined on select dates by the English Beat, Maxi Priest, Inner Circle, Third World and/or Fastest Land Animal, things get started over in the UK with a May 6 appearance at Cheltenham Jazz Festival and a show in Tilburg, Netherlands, on June 29. Thereafter, UB40 venture across North America, making a Canadian pitstop on July 11 to play the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. They'll continue across the US through July and August, with additional UK and European dates slated for November and December.
