Tyler, the Creator Detained by Police in Los Angeles

Today was a big day for the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All crew, as their head honcho Tyler, the Creator dropped his crazy anticipated new album Goblin. The record has been well-received, and we even called it a "blessing" in our review, but it still hasn't been a perfect day for Tyler as he was briefly arrested earlier this afternoon in Los Angeles.

Details remain scarce, but Tyler was reportedly arrested outside of Westchester High School where he was promoting Goblin with his collaborator Jasper Dolphin. Rap-Up reports that the two had their skateboards confiscated, and posted the above photo courtesy of Twitter user Josh Glider.

Tyler, the Creator was clearly freed from police custody relatively soon, as he took to his own Twitter on Tuesday afternoon (May 10) with the following anti-police rant:

FUCK COPS... FUCK POLICE FUCK YOU ALL I HOPE YOU ALL DIE... I WILL NEVER RESPECT YOU... PIGS... I Can Not Wait To Perform FUCK THA POLICE Tonight... FUCK A COP... I Have A Great Lawyer... Actually. No. I Dropped GOBLIN Today, I'm Not Gonna Let That Shit Fuck My Day Up... I Swear To Atheist God Tho, FUCK COPS. I'm Moshing Tonight. Fuck Cops Fuck Cops #GOBLIN

In other words, it was the same sentiment that's always displayed on Tyler's Twitter, though slightly more focused. Stay tuned for more details as they surface.

UPDATE: Tyler's publicist has confirmed the rapper's run-in with the law. As reported, no charges were laid and Tyler was only detained by police.
