Toronto/Vancouver garage punks Tough Age are set to have their 2015 sophomore release I Get the Feeling Central released over in Japan, so they're plugging the LP with a new music video. Exploring the rigours of sound check and venue security is the new clip for "Castigation."
Directed by Jordan Minkoff, the video first finds the on-tour quartet lugging their gear into a club. There, they face some aggressive security pat downs, and witness a sound guy enthusiastically eyeballing each and every onstage microphone placement. After the employee threatens to throw then "in a hole" if they go over their miniscule set allowance, they put on a ripping performance.
You'll find the clip below, along with the band's upcoming Japanese tour schedule. The Japanese edition of I Get the Feeling Central sees release October 18 via Moorworks.
Tour dates:
10/08 Chuo, Tokyo - Nanahari (Jarrett Samson solo)
10/12 Nishi-Ogukubo, Tokyo - Pit Bar
10/15 Koenji, Tokyo - Sound Studio Dom
10/18 Setagaya, Tokyo - Fever
