Who raves in a pineapple under the sea? Torontonians, apparently — if the "pineapple" is the Opera House and "under the sea" is Queen Street East.

From the creators of the Shrek Rave comes the Bikini Bottom Rave, a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed dance party taking place on February 3, courtesy of Modo Live.

Sporting a tagline that reads "It's dumb, just come have fun," and "WHO CARES. COOL IS DEAD. idk hahaha," the event sounds like it could honestly be a real hoot, and with Tier 1 tickets going for just under $30, the entire thing is giving off some serious why-not? energy.

If you too would like to celebrate the multi-decade legacy of everyone's favourite cartoon yellow sponge — as well as the timely death of coolness in the deep freeze of Canadian winter — head to the event's ticketing website for more information.
