Torngat / Final Fantasy / The Blow

A dreamy afternoon workshop that began unassumingly with an instrumental "Better Than Worse” and a gorgeous Torngat track that begged for future collaborations was thrown 90 degrees off-course by the arrival of the Blow’s Khaela Maricich, who followed a delirious escape-from-USA narrative with a highly impromptu renditions of "How Naked” and "Hey Boy.” Yet the result was not incongruous, as Maricich’s charisma and visible chemistry onstage with Owen Pallett only hinted at participatory hijinks to come.
