But it certainly is unusual when Sir Tom Jones goes and insures his chest hair for a whopping seven million dollars with Lloyds of London.
Joness management denied the story to UK tabloid the Mirror, and said that the "Sex Bomb has been "working far too hard in the recording studio" for such trivial things, but clearly something has aroused some concern for the well-being of his curly chestnut brown locks.
"Admittedly, this is one of the most obscure requests I've had but I still came up with a wording that addressed the need," admitted Lloyds of London underwriter John Thomas. The esteemed insurance company has also found itself a popular choice for celebrities, insuring other hot properties like Lopezs aforementioned keister, Heidi Klums legs and Ugly Betty star America Ferreras mouth, which was backed up for about five million British pounds.
