In recent years, we've heard occasional updates from the surviving members '90s R&B faves TLC. Now, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas have shed some light on their plans to release a new, album along with other new recordings.

According to Rolling Stone, TLC are in the process of wrapping up work on the new album. While details about the collection are still scarce, it's said to feature collaborations with Drake and Ne-Yo.

They've also re-recorded a slew of their most popular hits for their upcoming VH1 biopic, which was announced back in 2011 and is slated to premiere this fall. The soundtrack will also include two new singles, produced by Dallas Austin.

As for the group's still up-in-the-air plans to tour, Chilli said, "Trust me. It's going to happen!"

In the meantime, the band will perform at Mixtape Festival in Hershey, PA, which runs from July 26 to 27 at Hersheypark Stadium. The show will reportedly feature archival footage of late member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who died in 2002. TLC's most recent album, 3D, came out later that same year.
