Though many are beyond excited that we're just two weeks away from the release of soulful Saharan outfit Tinariwen's latest album, Tassili, news of a North American tour is bound to set fans off even further.
The troupe will be swinging through Canada and the U.S. this fall. The trip kicks off in Los Angeles, and Tinariwen will it up Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver before they wrap things up in Seattle. You can check out the complete schedule below.
As previously reported, Tassili, which comes out August 30 on Anti-, was recorded in a protected region of the south-eastern Algerian Desert. TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone sat in on those sessions, while Wilco guitarist Nels Cline added some guitar work later on.
