Thom Yorke's Son Noah Just Released a Song, and It Sounds a Lot Like Radiohead

Jonny Greenwood called "Trying Too Hard (Lullaby)" a "glorious piece of music"

Noah Yorke is the son of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, and he just released his first single under his own name. "Trying Too Hard (Lullaby)" is out now, and it sounds a hell of lot like something his dad could have written.

The song is a quiet ballad consisting of soft guitar arpeggios and ghostly, very Radiohead-esque crooning. The whole arrangement gradually builds up with spooky, plinking textures, bearing a strong similarity to 2007's In Rainbows. The song has already gotten the stamp of approval from his dad's bandmate, Jonny Greenwood, who shared it on Twitter.

Noah was born in 2001, making him 19 or 20 as of this writing. This appears to be his first song under his own name, but he's actually been releasing music for a while now. He has a Bandcamp page under the name Alec Owen, and he released an album last summer under the name L.E.T.H.A.L.
