The Smugglers, the long-gone (but recently reunited) Vancouver punk band fronted by Grant Lawrence, have announced a vinyl reissue for their 1993 album, In the Hall of Fame. It's out November 4 through Lavasocks Records.

In the Hall of Fame was originally a CD-only release, and, until now, it's been the only Smugglers album never released on vinyl. It was remastered by producer Mass Giorgini (who produced the band's most successful album, 1996's Selling the Sizzle!), while Chris Imlay of the Hi-Fives touched up the original artwork by Neko Case.

Lawrence said in a statement, "This was the album that first got the Smugglers some attention on campus and college radio, and at record stores, and most importantly with fans. But it was our only album that never came out on vinyl. At 20 songs, we always figured it was too long. And then, out of the blue, some 30 years later, comes Lavasocks Records with a double-vinyl gatefold reissue! Outrageous! Thank you, Lavasocks!"

The track "Rock 'n' Roll Was Never This Fun" has gotten a new music video. Check that out below. The 2LP pressing of In the Hall of Fame is available to pre-order here.
