The Rugrats Movie turns 20 this year, so you'd be forgiven for forgetting about the unlikely soundtrack that accompanied the film. Luckily, it's coming to vinyl for the first time ever to remind us all.
The 12-track offering features a slew of collaborations, including tracks by Blackstreet and Mya, No Doubt and Elvis Costello, and "This World Is Something New to Me" featuring — take a deep breath — B Real, Beck, Cindy Wilson, Dawn Robinson, Fred Schneider, Gordon Gano, Iggy Pop, Jakob Dylan, Kate Pierson, Laurie Anderson, Lenny Kravitz, Lisa Loeb, Lou Rawls, Patti Smith and Phife.
Elsewhere on the OST, there are also contributions from Busta Rhymes, Devo and Rakim, as well as some of the voice actors from the film.
The soundtrack was produced by Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh, who also happened to write the TV show's original theme song.
