The Raconteurs' Brendan Benson has revealed plans for his next solo album. Titled Dear Life, it will arrive on April 24 via Third Man Records.

The album was produced by Benson himself at his Nashville studio and hears him performing almost all of the record's instrumentation.

A press release describes the influences behind the album as a mix of "cannabis, hip-hop, and a newly discovered interest in software drum programming."

The full tracklisting can be found below, and the first song to be unveiled is one called "Good to Be Alive."

"'Good to Be Alive' is kind of weird, to be honest," Benson said in a statement. "But that's what I'm most excited about. It says a lot about this record, it's almost got a split personality or something. It's totally bizarre — I still sit back and listen to it, thinking, that's so cool! It's like somebody else played it, it's not the same old me."
