The Hold Steady are gearing up for a string of U.K. shows this weekend, but ahead of the live dates, the band have shared a brand new song called "The Last Time She Talked to Me."
The group debuted the track last fall during a Brooklyn show, but now they've unveiled a full-fledged studio version of the song.
As always, it's rammed with wordy verses and an anthemic chorus, though it also features a twangier and more horn-infused sound than the band's previous work.

As previously reported, frontman Craig Finn will also release a new solo album called I Need a New War on April 26 via Partisan Records.
