As part of their Constructive Summer 2024 tour, the Hold Steady have announced their first Canadian shows in a few years, with a weekend of Toronto performances set to take place in May.
"We're excited to be playing some new (to us) venues in Toronto!" the band wrote on Twitter, having released their most recent album, The Price of Progress, last year. They'll play the Great Hall on May 2 and 3, then the Concert Hall on May 4.
Furthermore, Craig Finn and co. will be doing an "intimate storytellers-style performance featuring unique takes of songs in the catalogue" on the afternoon of May 4 at a surprise location in the Concert Hall — just "don't call it unplugged!"
Single-night and three-day passes go on sale tomorrow (February 13) at 10 a.m. ET via the band's website, with tickets to the low-volume afternoon set — as well as merch bundles — available as add-ons.
