The Dodos haven't released a new record in three years, but that's about to change with the arrival of Certainty Waves. It's due out October 12 via Polyvinyl.
The album marks the follow-up to Individ and is described by guitarist and songwriter Meric Long as the band's "midlife crisis record."
Ten years on from the release of their sophomore album Visiter, the band are revisiting their roots and "embracing the unlimited possibilities of a time when there were no preconceptions of what the band should sound like."
The first single to arrive from the upcoming LP is "Forum," and you can check out the full tracklisting and give the new tune a spin in the player down below.
The band have also mapped out a North American tour in support of the album, including Canadian dates in Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. See the full list of shows below, as well.
