The Dirty Nil Unveil New Touring Lineup

Captain Wildchild's Sam Tomlinson will be joining the band on tour for the rest of the year

Following last week's news that bassist Ross Miller has left the Dirty Nil, the Hamilton punk rockers have announced his replacement.

The band took to Instagram over the weekend to share the news that Sam Tomlinson will be playing bass on their upcoming North American tour.

"Hey y'all, please give a mighty sup to our good friend @sir_tomlinson who'll be ripping with us for the rest of the year," they wrote. Multitalented Tomlinson is a member of Hamilton-based art rock group Captain Wildchild and a "wicked" photographer from Dundas, ON.

It's too soon to say how the now-duo of Luke Bentham and Kyle Fisher will regroup in Miller's absence in the long run, but this certainly seems like a fitting addition for the time being.

Tomlinson will be slappin' da bass onstage in support of the Dirty Nil's most recent album — this year's Fuck Art.
