The 21st Agenda's debut, Wilt, is the definition of angular hardcore meets progressive metal. The 21st Agenda have thrown everything that they know at the metaphorical wall to see what works, sonically. The 21st Agenda are not shy about showcasing their influences, and put everything from thrash, hardcore and progressive jazz interludes on display. Wilt is the sonic journey of a band discovering themselves, and it makes for an extremely satisfying experience.

Wilt is laid out in a fashion oddly reminiscent to Cave In's Until Your Heart Stops. With its dime-like tempo changes and its bizarre riff compositions, it is enough to make the listener completely unsure of what's to come. Songs such as "Vermin," "Tuned (In)" and "Disposable" have enough technicality and melody to be pleasantly surprising for the listener. Frenetic energy is a young person's game, and the 21st Agenda have not failed to capitalize on this.

Wilt is scrambled and all over the place, but it is full of bright moments. The 21st Agenda have set themselves up to compose and write any heavy music they want without it sounding out of place. The 21st Agenda have a very bright future ahead of them, and should not be missed.
