Back in the fall, Tennis toured around North America in support of their album Ritual in Repeat, but they've since been taking some time off while singer Alaina Moore battled laryngitis. Now she's apparently out of the woods, since the band are preparing to hit the road in our continent once again.
The outing will last for nearly a month from late April through to the second half of May. They will start off in their hometown of Denver before heading west, then going south and ultimately making a loop around most of the U.S.; they will also head across the border for a Toronto stop on May 19.
See the schedule below.
For a taste of what the band are like in the flesh, watch a live video for the Ritual in Repeat track "A Needle and a Knife" at the bottom of this page. It's a stripped-down, intimate acoustic performance with very glittery, soft-focus visuals.
Moore explained in a statement, "Despite hibernating most of the winter, we've been busy with various projects. Writing, recording, and most recently filming. The idea for this live video developed out of my obsession with Petra Collins' photography (also her hair.) Her work is impertinent, forceful and above all feminine. Forty bucks and several trips to Party City was all I needed to turn my living room into a pink hell which doubled as the perfect setting for a performance of 'Needle and a Knife.'"
