After dropping new single "ME!" in April, Taylor Swift has now shared the title and release date of her new album.

Swift's seventh studio album is titled Lover, and it will arrive August 23 through Republic. It's the follow-up to 2017's Reputation, and you can find its colourful cover art above. Swift will share a second single from the effort tonight, titled "You Need to Calm Down."

UPDATE (6/14, 12 a.m. EDT): You can now stream "You Need to Calm Down" below.

Lover is available for pre-order through Swift's official website, where the effort is available in a standard edition and four different deluxe editions. She's also rolled out a new line of merch items, though we hope they've been proofread for typos.

Last month, Swift described Lover as "bigger" than her previous catalogue entries. As she told Entertainment Weekly, "This time around I feel more comfortable being brave enough to be vulnerable, because my fans are brave enough to be vulnerable with me Once people delve into the album, it'll become pretty clear that that's more of the fingerprint of this — that it's much more of a singer-songwriter, personal journey than the last one."
