West Coast hip-hop mainstays Swollen Members have been ultra generous so far in providing audio-visual sneak peeks of their upcoming Brand New Day, but the BaxWar all-stars are now doing their faithful the ultimate solid by streaming the album in full ahead of its official June 17 street date.
Already we've heard the title track, "Power" and "Cock Blocker." Now you can check out Madchild discussing moving forward from his drug problems on the haunted house synth screecher "Nemesis," Prevail delivering Frank Dux-worthy verbal damage on "Bloodsport," and the pair stomping their way through the massive, brass-blasting, monster movie-conjuring beat of "Odd Goblins" like the card-carrying barbarians they are.
As previously reported, while Brand New Day features production work from DJ Makeaway and DJ Revolution, the album finds Prevail and Madchild eschewing guest appearances to handle all the rhymes themselves.
Of delivering pure, undiluted BaxWar verses, Prevail had previously said in a statement: "This album is a landmark for us in that it doesn't feature any guests. Our belief system has been renewed and we agreed that between the amazing production and the complexity of the lyrical value, we could let Brand New Day speak for itself."
If you're in Canada, you can check out all of Swollen Members' Brand New Day down below.
UPDATE: This stream was available for one week only and is no longer available.
