Published Sep 09, 2019Days removed from confirming a reunion late last week, Supergrass have unveiled plans to release a new career-spanning box set, as well as a full-fledged reunion tour.
To mark the 25th anniversary of their 1995 debut I Should Coco, the band will deliver a box set dubbed Supergrass – The Strange Ones, 1994-2008 on January 24 via BMG.
The set features all six of the band's studio albums on picture disc and CD, in addition to bonus CDs of unreleased live material, B-sides, remixes, rarities, outtakes, demos, new mixes and more. The set also features posters, buttons and a 52-page book of photos and essays.
Ahead of the box set's arrival, Supergrass have shared a cover of the Police's "Next to You," which you can hear below. The Strange Ones is now available for pre-order.
After playing a surprise show on Friday (September 6), Supergrass have also mapped out a full reunion tour. Tonight they will be play London, UK, and they will follow that by embarking on a European and U.K. tour in February.
By the spring, Supergrass will play U.S. shows in Los Angeles on April 1 and Brooklyn on April 9. However, the band have not yet revealed any plans to come to Canada.
