In addition to playing in Hollerado, brothers Nixon and Jake Boyd make up half of the indie pop outfit Stella Ella Ola. Their debut album is called I Think We Should Hang Out All the Time. It's due out today (August 5) through Hollerado's Royal Mountain Records label, and it's available to stream on Exclaim.ca.
The album is perfectly geared towards summer lovin' and having a blast. It consists of punchy, punky bubblegum pop cuts with traces of a surf rock and garage country. From the Go-Go's-style bounce of opener "Summerette" to the giddy closer "Peter Sellers," this is a bundle of fun from front to back.
