To date, the musical output of Staasia Daniels has been around love — the nature of it, the need for it, the lack of it. What's the difference between liking someone and just feeling comfortable? This surprise eight-track project by the Toronto singer-songwriter builds off previous output — 2018's Mood Roulette and 2019's Whatever Happens, Happens — and reveals emotional and musical growth.

A number like the breathy "Vulnerable," "Love Feels Like" sounds like what emotional and relationship stasis feels like.
