St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) has joined forces with Sheryl Crow for a new song.
Titled "Wouldn't Want to Be Like You," Crow wrote the track and then sent it to Clark to put her "St. Vincent-ness" on it.
Crow says she prefaced the tune by telling Clark, "You will not hurt my feelings if you don't like the song" — which turned out to be an unnecessary disclaimer.
"I sent it to her, and her response was, 'Fuck yeah,'" Crow told Billboard. "That was a direct quote, as only Annie Clark can respond, which I loved. She did all kinds of stuff on it, and we pretty much used all of it."
