Last year, Vancouver, BC post-hardcore eclectics SSRIs put out the brilliantly titled LP Effeminate Godzilla-Sized Wind Chimes. We've already seen a quirky animated video from that release, and now we have another to watch. This one is a live clip that combines the songs "Rows" and "You and I."
It was filmed by the Vancouver blog Tasty Ears. Shot deep in the Pacific rainforest, it shows the four-piece doing their experimental take on prog, hardcore and jazz. Surrounded by gorgeous greenery, their spiky keys, yelping vocals and complex structural shifts are dizzying.
Tasty Ears' caption for the video reads, "The performance was well worth a few mosquito bites and risk of soaking all our gear. Had too much fun with these guys. Thanks SSRIs."
