TMZ reports that authorities were sent to the star's home this morning after her home security company notified police of a potential intruder. The site reports that upon arriving at the house, they found a man who had stayed the night.
TMZ also reports that the man was tasered by police after leaving the home upon their request. The site notes that Rihanna was not at the property at the time of the break-in.
Authorities also confirmed to TMZ that the man will be charged for residential burglary.
