If the Smashing Pumpkins getting three of their four original members back together wasn't an enough of an event, the band have now worked a special 30th anniversary performance into their current reunion tour.
The band's upcoming performance in Holmdel, NJ, on August 2 will feature a number of special guests, including Courtney Love, ex-New Order bassist Peter Hook, Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, AFI's Davey Havok and more.
Other guests include Dave Keuning and Mark Stoermer of the Killers and Sugar Ray vocalist Mark McGrath. A statement from the group notes that the date will feature "a career-spanning setlist, never before seen production and more surprises."
The show will take place at Holmdel's PNC Bank Arts Centre. In kicking off their current tour, the Pumpkins gave Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" the cover treatment.
The band released a video for new track "Solara" last month.
