Led by synth mastermind Thomas DArcy, the band formerly known as the Ladies and Gentlemen have taken a step away from their past image of all-white outfits and electronic sounds to infuse a bit more rock into the songs. This performance made me remember why I liked this band so much the first time I saw them: they have a knack for playing a really tight set without losing the ability to bring sheer fun to the crowd watching. And slightly distracting my attention from the band was the 60-something woman dancing in front of me, who obviously found her fun in the music. And maybe a bit in Flashdance.
