Sloan Give Vinyl Pressing to 2000 Concert 'Alive & Alright'

It features the band playing their 1999 album 'Between the Bridges'

Sloan sat on their live album Alive & Alright for more than 20 years, having recorded it in 2000 and finally released it online in 2022. Now, the set has come to vinyl.

The concert was recorded on February 4, 2000, in front of a small crowd of around 50 fans in Toronto. The band played their entire then-new album Between the Bridges (not in the same order as the album, mind you), plus the B-side "At the Edge of the Scene." The format of the show was modelled after a Led Zeppelin concert for Danish TV from 1969.

Alive & Alright is available to purchase now. It's been pressed on two 12-inches cut at 45 rpm, which are available in a limited edition of 1,200. In addition to gatefold packaging and an insert with photos from the night, it comes with a link to watch the full concert video.
