Sleepless Nights Don't Sleep

While most keep tinkering to find a suitable digital-music model, Halifax's Sleepless Nights forge ahead; the second of their three EP free download project was just released on thesleeplessnights.com. Both the hazy riff pop of King Diamond and the muddy synths of The Phone Booth Outside the Video Store are injected with angular indie rock urgency and endearing wit that's been missed since Sloan packed their bags and left the coast. The third EP will be available online in April, and in the meantime, you can instead remunerate their quality work as they tour this month.
