Sleater-Kinney are teasing a new album and revealed that it will be produced by St. Vincent's Annie Clark.
The band shared a photo of members Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss in the studio with Clark this morning.
Few further details have been revealed, but by the sounds of things, the record is expected out at some point in 2019.
Speaking to NPR Music, Brownstein confirmed that the project with Clark will indeed be a full-length album and explained the band's new approach to writing and recording.
"If there is an overarching principle to this album, it's that the tools on which we were relying proved inadequate," she said. "So we sought new ones, both metaphorically and literally."
Sleater-Kinney's last full-length record was 2015's No Cities to Love, which was followed by a live album called Live in Paris in 2017.
St. Vincent, meanwhile, released MASSEDUCTION in 2017, and followed that up with a reworked version of the album called MassEducation last year.
