Sixtoo with Hadji Bakara

Performing a set of entirely new material, this set of hook-filled electronic music was only brought down by Sixtoo’s rapping, which was spirited but, quite simply, not very good. Aided by Wolf Parade’s Hadji Bakara, the two offered a set that appeared to be entirely free of pre-programmed material, tapping out drumbeats and triggering samples at an impressive pace. Creating excellent soundscapes and filling them with catchy loops, Sixtoo and Bakara offered one of the most interesting sets of the weekend.
