Silverstein

"Milestone" (lyric video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 4, 2015

As previously reported, Canadian post-hardcore vets Silverstein will be issuing their I Am Alive in Everything I Touch album through new label homes New Damage and Rise Records this spring. To help promote the landmark move, the band are now previewing the album with a concert clip-laced lyric video for the album's "Milestone."

Acting as the LP's de facto title cut, the track starts off with iron-heavy guitar licks and a screamed "I am alive in everything I touch." Being the kind of people to take things way too literally, we're hoping singer Shane Told has awakened anything and everything in his daily journeys, from a microphone during a live sets to maybe a scrumptious sandwich found somewhere backstage. The video shows off speedy hardcore beats, hard-chugging mosh sections over a series of performance shots, but also offers up some more scenic scenes of city streets.

You can get your hands on a copy of I Am Alive in Everything I Touch on May 19.
