Waterloo, ON-based rockers Sierra Pilot have shared a moody video for propulsive new single "Alive."
In a statement about the track, the band's frontman Taylor Leith said:
It's about celebrating the little things, and being grateful for what you have. If you can find one good thing to be grateful for or make one good thing happen in the run of a day, you're already miles ahead of so many people. Just the very notion of being alive; you get another day and another chance.
A shiny, muscular slice of riff-rock inspired by '90s guitar textures, "Alive" packs some anthemic melodies into its ode to living. The video finds Leith cruising through quiet, streetlight-flooded avenues before joining his bandmates.
"Alive" is slated to feature on the band's upcoming debut album, though no concrete details on the release are currently available. It'll be the band's first full-length statement following two EPs, The Lies We Sell and Demon's Awake.
