From last year's The Traveller to 2008's Shedding the Past, European minimal techno great Shed (née Rene Pawlowitz) has proven his ability to crank out fascinating electronic albums. Thing is, he's also sitting on a pile of great singles under his ultra-mysterious EQD moniker that you may not have heard before. Thankfully, he's gathering those up for a new compilation album.
Resident Advisor reports that the album is called Equalized #111 and will collect everything that Pawlowitz has released on his own Equalized label to date. This includes five EPs that he recorded under as EQD, and the site promises we can expect elements of rave, breakbeat and straight-up techno.
A release date for Equalized #111 has not been entirely confirmed, but the release is expected to drop in December. Check out the EQD track "Equalized #001 (A1)" below.
