Not wanting to actually die in the "Rat House," Shannon and the Clams are currently out on the road in support of their current Dreams in the Rat House LP. Before they left, though, they whipped up a freaky and fun cosplay video for the de facto title cut.
While, true, Shannon herself pops up to mug for the camera, the real star of the show is a rhythmically-inclined gorilla — or at least a reasonable facsimile — pounding out beats with the use of some deep-fried drumsticks. Also leaving a lasting impression are the ghoul-masked furries blasting their way down the street on their skateboards.
As previously reported, Shannon and the Clams bring the garage rock madness to Toronto's Silver Dollar Room next Monday (November 25), though it's unclear if a KFC-toting simian will be smacking the drum kit.
