Shad

"It Ain't Over" (video)

BY Stephen CarlickPublished Oct 31, 2012

In the middle of last summer, Vancouver-based rapper Shad surprised fans by dropping free five-track EP Melancholy and the Infinite Shadness, his first release since 2010's excellent TSOL.

Today (October 31), the punny wordsmith revealed a video for EP track "It Ain't Over." The song borrows pretty heavily from Lenny Kravitz, to whom the video pleads, "You are uncommonly handsome and talented. Please don't sue me."

From there, Shad tries to woo a lady with an almost-full bottle of cola, but she disappears. Will he finally win the heart of his dream lady? You'll have to watch the clip below, courtesy of Consequence of Sound, to find out.
