The Manitoba city of Selkirk may not be the pop-punk capital of the world, but it's certainly getting some serious daps from resident rocker Goody Grace, who enlisted Blink-182 to help him out on his new single.
The song is called "Scumbag," and sees Goody experience heartbreak and supernatural floating in his hometown of 10,000 before jamming out with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker in a suburban garage.
Speaking with the CBC, Goody explained that Barker actually appears on multiple songs on the Manitoba artist's forthcoming new album. He also has a feature from G-Eazy. But while Goody certainly spends most of his time in Los Angeles (where we're guessing Blink-182's music vid scenes were shot), he's still repping Selkirk as hard as he can.
"I want my music to feel like Manitoba to people who've never been here," he told the CBC. "I think Manitoba is a really beautiful place. There is this weird haunting, but beautiful, energy here."
