Seaway Sign to Dine Alone for 'Vacation' LP

Get a taste of the album with the new "Apartment" video

Ontario pop-punk outfit Seaway gave us an unexpected Alanis Morissette cover last summer, but this year they're announcing some brand new material of their own. The band have signed a record deal with Dine Alone and will be delivering a new LP titled Vacation on September 15.

It marks the band's follow-up to 2015's Colour Blind and hears them moving their sound forward — but carefully maintaining the "high energy and well-crafted hooks" their fans expect.

"Vacation is a step in a new direction for us," frontman Ryan Locke said in a statement. "While still holding onto familiar aspects of the band, we definitely explored new destinations for Seaway. It is the best music we've written thus far; the record we've been working towards for the last four years."

The first sampling from the forthcoming record has arrived with lead single "Apartment," and you can check it out by watching the brand new music video below. Just scroll past the Vacation tracklisting and the band's upcoming tour dates, then hit play.
